Category: Geeks r Us
ok so pardon the geek out for a minute. I recently bought a nokia 6600 and I'm running talks. It's probably oneof the coolest things one can ever do. I'm so amazed with the avenues it's opened up. I'm still trying to get the browser to work with the zone. this how ever isn't going so well. I can text message, send e-mails. I'm totally connected now. I loooove it! I haven't been this happy since... well.. since I drove a car.
Hmm, you using Cingular with that? If so, I know the plan I'm on charges for the Internet, text messaging and email...Just a bit of warning to know what you've got. *smile*
how much? everyone's getting accessable phones except me
I don't have one either, so u aren't alone.
nope. on t-mobile. their support is better, and so are their plans.
but their reception sucks. well here in Cali at least
Stay with Verizon! Their phones aren't as accessible, but they work everywhere!
true that
I have good reception with t-mobile, and I'm not goign to Cali anytime soon so it works for me
how good you are with talks. getting jealous lol!
i have t-moble too, and i couldnt be happier. i dont know of another plan where you can call your family members for free. even if there is one, t-moble is the best! smiles, wouldnt you agree liam?
most plans have in network stuff now which is cool, but I love t-mobile mainly cause there's so much fun stuff to do. granted they try and squeze money out of you, but it's still cool!
um everyone should want to come to Cali, specifically southern Cali.
t-mobile actually have the worst reputation of all the phone companies over here. oh apart from O2 I think but t-mobile's reception is abismal.
over here, singular wireless is starting to build itself a bad reputation.
Mmmm, choices... My family wants to sign another contract with AT&T/Singulare, I want Varison (just because I have more people on Varison's network, I think), but... I want an accessible phone dammit!! Heeeeeeeeeelp!!
I've got the wireless service formerally known as AT&T wireless. I also have a talks enabled phone. When the web browser can talk, I would really like to know about it. In case anyone cares, you can make your battery on the 6600/6620 phones go a lot further if you have the absolute latest version of Talks. To get through a whole day before I did that, I had to unload the eloquence from memory when I wasn't using it because if I didn't, my battery was good for 8 hours max.
at least with t-mobile, I'm able to use the browser with no problems. Latest version of talks works well. Granted, I recommend sticking with 1.99, but that's just me.
yep talks is cool. i've never used it, but heard of it. by the way, does talks support any other phones other than nokia? just wondering.
nokia semens and a panisonic phone. any phone running symbian series 60 can support it.
I've just upgraded my phone from the nokia 9210I to the 9300 and am waiting on delivery. I'm rather impresed with what they've done with talks for the new phones.
I sure wish that I had an accessible phone. But verizon and accessibility go together like battery acid and um... beep. no accessibility to be found. Verizon sucks for accessible cell
phones!
